see relatedWell, long time with no update! I just wanted to ask for prayer for my ten year old brother..he had to have his appendix removed last night around midnight! He is a strong little guy though, and he is recovering well. The doctors are letting him come home today! Thank God

Becky's Wedding and alumni weekend...
Happy birthday Becky! and Congratulations again!
I love you and I'm SO happy for you!
So Joey and I just got back yesterday from Becky's wedding in Minnesota... It was beautiful and I was so blessed to be able to go and be there, and be with Becky as she got married! We also got to hang out with Kate Walsh, and Ken Hansen, Joey's old roommate! Fun times for sure...
It's kind of a bummer being back to a regular week with school and work...I enjoy work (after-school program at an elementary school), but school... ICK. Oh well...life goes on...
So alumni weekend is coming up, and I'm excited for it. The only thing is that Joey and I can't get another Friday off of work a couple weeks after the wedding, so we are going to have to come late..probably Saturday morning. Better than nothing I suppose... and we'll get to see Becky and Brandon again there
. And who else?? Hopefully lots of people are going...Alright, well I gotta run...hope to see you all soon at Teen Mania!

New Joey
So everyone has seen the Joey in the same old cargo pants and pretty much nothing else. Basically like this:
So yesterday, me and my little sister Laura took Joey shopping. The result of our escapade:
JEANS!! Can anyone say hallelujah???
Anyways, I was so proud of him for being open to "new" things that I just had to give him a little kiss on the cheek

So anyways...that's the story of how Joey stepped out of his boring cargo pant world and into the ever so wonderful world of JEANS!!!

So...seeing as how I'm a native San Antonian, I do love the Spurs. And they just got eliminated
. Oh well...always next season... In other not-so-bummer news...I got a job! I had orientation today and training starts tomorrow... It's at InfoNXX, which is 411..information...directory assistance...yeah..
I get to answer those phone calls! Lol... should be interesting...they have good benefits and good pay and I'm grateful for the job...so we'll see how it goes!Also, I'm LOVING having a relationship with Joey that is "close-distance"...so wonderful. Keep him in your prayers..his job hunt is still in progress...
Ok, well I gotta go...Joey wants me to watch X-Men...just my kind of movie
